How to make Thai seafood dipping sauce | The ultimate sauce for your seafood

Every time I got fresh seafood, I admit I cannot think of anything else but a spicy zesty sauce to dip with. And for the recipe today, let’s learn how to make Thai seafood dipping sauce.

I and Amy always go shopping at Pike Place Market where I can find a ton of seafood selections.

In the middle of summer, we went to the market to get Dungeness crab, scallop, oyster, clam, salmon, and our plan is just to steam or grill them.

“It’s not enough” While Amy looking at a bunch of bags full of live seafood.

“Let’s get fresh water prawns”

And then, we decided to drive to Uwajimaya which is a Japanese grocery store, and we’re going to get fresh garlic, pickled garlic, and fresh bird’s eye chili to make the sauce as well.

Garlic and Fresh chili

We were back at our home and started with pre-heat a steamer and broiler. And, we just cook them with no seasoning added.

Now, I was going to make the Thai dipping sauce!

The process of making the recipe is very simple, you don’t even have to know how to cook.

You only blend everything in the blender and start dipping with your seafood!

However, this recipe might not taste like what you expect because your ingredients may not taste like ours or you might need a little less sour.

For example, your lime juice might not be sour as much as like us, or your chili might be too spicy.

I recommend you to make a half portion of my recipe first, and then keep adding and tasting until it meets your desire(may or may not reach the recipe amount).

“Seafood is ready!” Amy shouts out from the broiler.

Let’s enjoy :p
